As part of Army’s ongoing effort to engage and encourage the local youth of the region in a constructive manner and foster the spirit of national integration amongst them, the Indian Army is conducting a Pre-Recruitment Training for a duration of four months with effect from 01 Aug to 30 Nov 19 at Gool. With a surge in enquiries for the forthcoming recruitment rally at Talwara (Reasi), the Army has intensified its efforts to guide the youth of the Gool region and help them meet their aspirations through pre-recruitment training capsules. The aim of this training is to prepare and motivate the youth to choose Armed Forces as a career and provide them with all required assistance in training for upcoming recruitment rallies.

The training programs includes physical fitness test and imparting knowledge on measures to improve physical standards and additional lessons on preparation for the written aspect which is being conducted by qualified instructors. The training will also help the candidates to enhance and improve their personal and social conduct. A total of 30 candidates have enrolled themselves for the training capsule. This effort by the Indian Army will act as a catalyst to keep young & vibrant minds of the region to be in touch with Men in Uniform to promote peace & harmony in the region. The local youth have lauded the efforts by the Indian Army in organizing such training activities in their area.
