ARMY FLAGS OFF CAPACITY BUILDING TOUR FOR STUDENTS TO JAMMU, NAGROTA, UDHAMPUR

The Army has been doing yeoman service in the region of J&K to engage the youth residing in far flung arUdhampueas by creating an opportunity for their personality development and education. The Indian Army is organising a Capacity Building Tour for selected 20 students of Reasi and Rajouri Districts to Jammu, Nagrota and Udhampur, from 03 to 08 Sep 19. The aim of this Capacity Building Tour (CBT) is to motivate the students to join Indian Armed Forces and also to act as ambassadors of the Indian Army to propagate the essence of education, peace & prosperity in the region. The tour will provide an opportunity to the students to interact with the people from various streams outside and incorporate the best practices for their self-development. The tour will also help in winning the hearts and minds of the local populace thereby, further contribution towards enhancing the image of Indian Army and inculcating the national spirit in them.

Commander of Mahore based Rashtriya Rifles Sector flagged off 20 enthusiastic students alongwith two teachers and five personnels from the Indian Army, including an officer from Samote. The tour will move to Udhampur where they will be visiting Senior Superintendent of Police Office and will further move to Jammu. In Jammu tour will visit various places of interest and educational institutes like Jodhamal Public School/ Heritage School, Air Port and Bahu Fort.
